Omah Lay is once again causing a stir, after declaring himself the best Afrobeats artist of this generation, in an interview with Nando leaks.
Omah Lay explained that he feels like most artists these days are not putting enough effort, depth and intention into their music, stating that the only person he feels is on his level is Burna Boy.
With 3 billion total streams on his spotify, Omah Lay is not far behind Burna’s total of 5 billion streams, and with their shared hometown of Port Harcourt, it’s not hard to see the reason for their camaraderie.
